Start by writing in a journal every day – it is one of the best ways to make positive changes in your life. It’s just too easy to put everyone else’s needs before your own but when we ignore ourselves for YEARS, we start to feel lost, resentful and unappreciated. These are the questions that worked best for me. Feel free to modify them to help you pay attention to what you want most from your day. User warning! Starting a new daily practice isn’t easy so please give yourself permission to do it imperfectly. Let it be uncomfortable. Let yourself notice whatever thoughts or feelings come up without judgement or criticism. Allow yourself to forget, to flake, to resist, it’s all a part of the journey.
