Letting Go
Is there something you need to let go of?
Most moms intuitively know when they need to let go of something, but this often is accompanied by a resistance to doing so. The thought of letting go induces a tight feeling of holding on.
When part of us wants to let go, and the other part wants to hold on, we feel stuck.
The Letting Go Challenge will help you get unstuck and move forward with peace and freedom.
JOIN THE 5 DAY LETTING GO CHALLENGE
As parents, we are in a constant state of letting go. Some of these things are easy like diapers or being woken up in the middle of the night. You might enjoy not having to make lunch for your kid every day but letting go control over what they eat can be hard.
Here are just a few ideas of things moms have used this challenge to let go of:
- The belief that if I do everything right, my kid won’t struggle.
- A marriage that was no longer working.
- The idea that my kids still needed me at home with them full time.
- The perfect family dinner picture I have in my head.
- Control over the friends and activities my kids choose.
- Baby clothes, toys and furniture.
- That my teenager is having a different experience than I thought he would.
- The idea that I can prevent/cure my teen’s social anxiety.
- Fear of something bad happening to my kids online.
- That a messy room and mediocre grades does not equate to failure in life.
